Report a trader

If a tradesperson who quoted you through QuoteNod has done something wrong — work not done, money taken and nothing delivered, a signed quote not honoured, threatening or dishonest behaviour, or your job posted on social media after you asked for it not to be — tell us here. A person reads every report and looks into it on its own. A trader whose report is upheld gets a strike, and three strikes closes their account.

What happens next: your report will be investigated. If the trader is found to be in breach of QuoteNod’s terms, QuoteNod will take immediate action. You will hear back within 7 working days either way.

What we cannot do: get your money back. QuoteNod does not hold or move the money on a job; what you are owed is between you and the trader under the contract you signed, and for that it is Citizens Advice, Trading Standards or the small claims court. What we can do is stop a trader who is a problem from using QuoteNod to find the next customer.

We use what you send to look into the report and to reply to you. The trader is told a report was upheld and why, not who made it. See our privacy notice.
