Two-factor authentication

Your account holds every customer’s name, address and signed contract. Two-factor means that even if somebody gets your password, they still cannot sign in without your phone.

  1. Install a free authenticator app if you don’t have one — Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator or Authy, or use the one built into iPhone Passwords.

  2. On the Account page, under Two-factor, press Switch on two-factor. Scan the square code with the app, then type the six-digit code it shows.

  3. Save the ten recovery codes it gives you — print them or put them in a password manager. Each one signs you in once if your phone is lost or broken, and they are shown only this once.

  4. From then on, signing in asks for your password and then the code from your app. Codes change every thirty seconds, so type the one showing now.

New phone? Switch two-factor off and then on again from the same place, scanning with the new phone. Lost the phone and the codes? Write to support from your account email and we will check it is you before taking it off.
